Moulin Rouge, 18th arr.

Having a night off in Paris not knowing what to do?  Try one of the cabaret shows. It’s equally fun going alone, with the girls, with a larger group, or just with your hubby. Moulin Rouge in Montmartre is the most famous one obviously, and Lido in Champs Élysés does the same.  Crazy Horse, however,  is a little more intimate, and one notch more sensual.  There, try the front row seating package giving you an excellent seat and unlimited brand name Champagne.  Can’t go much wrong 🙂

As for Moulin Rouge or Lido, they are fairly big venues, and it doesn’t matter much where you are sitting.  The dinner isn’t really why you’re there, so better go to one of the closeby traditional French Brasseries before or after the show.  For Moulin Rouge, try Brasserie Wepler at Place de Clichy (oysters are yum!), and for Lido or Crazy Horse, maybe Philippe et Jean-Pierre at 7 Rue Boccador.
